As an experienced educator, I am passionate about helping children reach their full potential and collaborating with the adults who are also committed to this goal. Below are some examples of the services I offer, but please keep in mind that each program can be customized to meet your unique needs and goals. I am here to help.
Beginner Reader
This program is designed for parents who want to help their school-age child develop strong reading skills, including decoding, comprehension, and fluency. The program consists of 30-minute sessions, twice a week for six weeks. During this time, I will work with your child to develop their phonemic awareness, sight word recognition, and decoding skills. Additionally, I will teach strategies for improving comprehension and fluency, such as thinking and talking about the text, and using expression when reading. I will also provide you with resources and guidance to support your child’s reading development at home and cultivate a love of reading.
Early Literacy Foundations
This program is designed for parents who want to support their child’s early literacy development and give them an advantage before they begin formal schooling. The program consists of 30-minute sessions, twice a week for six weeks. During this time, I will work with your child to develop their pre-reading skills, including phonemic awareness, letter recognition, and print awareness. We will also work on building a strong foundation in phonics and decoding skills. Additionally, we will focus on developing your child’s writing skills, including letter formation and early message writing. I will provide you with strategies and activities to promote early literacy and writing at home, such as read-alouds, nursery rhymes, and interactive games. Together, we’ll work to ensure that your child enters school with strong literacy and writing skills and a love of learning.
Early Intervention Reading and Writing Support
Early reading and writing can be challenging for children for a variety of reasons, and this program is designed to address those challenges. This program is perfect for young children who may be struggling with phonemic awareness, sight word recognition, and decoding skills, or those who may be strong at decoding but struggle with fluency and comprehension. The program consists of 30-minute sessions, twice a week for six weeks. During this time, I will work with your child to diagnose their specific reading and writing difficulties and provide targeted instruction to address them. I will also provide you with resources and guidance to support your child’s reading and writing development at home. By the end of the program, your child will have made significant progress and be on the path to becoming a confident reader and writer.
The English Language Acquisition Program
This is an intensive 12-week package designed for early elementary English Language Learners (ELLs) who need specialized support in developing their speaking, reading, and writing skills in English. During each 30-minute session, I will use a combination of interactive language learning activities tailored to your child’s individual needs and abilities to help them build a strong foundation in English language proficiency. These activities include engaging reading and writing exercises that target phonemic awareness, decoding, comprehension, and grammar. In addition, we will practice conversational skills to help build your child’s confidence in using English in everyday communication. Vocabulary building activities will also be incorporated into the program to help expand your child’s understanding of the English language. At the end of the program, your child will have developed a solid foundation in English language skills and be better equipped to succeed in an English-speaking academic environment.
I offer a free initial consultation to discuss your child’s learning needs and goals. During this consultation, we can determine a program that best fits your child and family, and address any questions or concerns you may have. Technical Requirements
To participate in any online program, you will need a reliable internet connection and a computer or laptop with a modern internet browser, such as Firefox or Google Chrome. It is also recommended that you use headphones to ensure clear audio during live sessions. I highly encourage all students to ensure they have the necessary technology and a quiet, distraction-free environment for optimal learning.
Registration Fees
Initial Deposit: 50% of program fees due before the start of the program.
Payment Plan: Remaining 50% of program fees due in weekly installments over the course of the program.
Full Payment: Clients have the option to pay the full amount of the program fees upfront before the start of the program.
Note: The cost of learning materials is included in all programs to ensure that your child has access to the resources they need to succeed. In the event that there are any additional costs associated with a particular program, these costs will be discussed with you upfront so that you have a clear understanding of what is included and what is not. The goal is to provide you with high-quality educational services and I strive to be transparent in all pricing and policies. If you have any questions about the cost of a program or the materials that will be used, please don’t hesitate to ask. Cancellation Policy
I understand that sometimes unforeseen circumstances may arise, and you may need to cancel or reschedule your session. However, please note that I require a minimum of 24 hours notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Failure to provide the required notice may result in the forfeiture of the session fee. In the event of an emergency, please contact me as soon as possible to discuss options for rescheduling. I value your time and appreciate your cooperation in adhering to this policy.
